License and purchase terms
What you buy for 10 USD, what state it is in (early access: it has bugs, and they are being fixed), what you need to use it, and how to get your money back.

This is a courtesy translation. The documents are drafted under Colombian law and the Spanish version is the binding one.
01Who sells it and who charges you
The owner of Halcyon Studio, and who grants you the license, is Santiago de la Vega Vargas, an individual, tax ID (NIT) 1032796953-7, domiciled at Carrera 3 # 3-76, Barrio Centro, Sáchica, Boyacá, Colombia. Phone +57 321 247 3483. Email contacto2@halcyons2.com.
Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, acting as authorized reseller (merchant of record): it processes the payment, calculates and remits the taxes due in your country, and issues your invoice. That is why the charge may show under its name. We never see or store your card details.
The price is 10 USD, one-time payment. Depending on your country, taxes may be added at checkout; Lemon Squeezy shows them before you confirm.
02What you buy
A personal, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Halcyon Studio 1.x on up to 3 computers at a time. It is a one-time payment: no subscription, no credits.
- The Windows desktop editor, with its rendering engine.
- The library of parts included in the program.
- The MCP server, which connects the editor to an AI client you already have (see article 04).
- Every update of version 1.x.
The software is licensed, not sold: you acquire the right to use it under these terms, not the program itself or its code.
03It is early access: it has bugs
Halcyon Studio is in early access. It is software under active development, and you buy it knowing that:
- It may have bugs: unexpected crashes, wrong results, features that are incomplete or do not behave as described.
- Features may change, improve or be reworked between versions.
- Bugs are fixed through updates, with no committed dates for each fix or feature.
- The roadmap on this site is informative, not a contractual promise of what will come or when.
- We do our best to keep saved projects opening in new versions, but during early access we cannot guarantee it.
Save often and back up the projects you care about. We are not liable for work lost because of a bug (see article 10).
The early access price reflects that state. If you find a bug, write to contacto2@halcyons2.com with the steps to reproduce it: it is the fastest way to get it fixed.
04What you need to use it
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
- A Vulkan-capable graphics card (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel) with up-to-date drivers.
- An internet connection to activate it the first time on each computer (see article 05).
Artificial intelligence is NOT included. To model by asking an AI you need an MCP-compatible client — for example Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor — with your own account, under that provider’s terms and pricing. What you send to that AI is handled by that provider under its own policy, not by us. The editor is fully usable without AI.
Check the requirements before buying. If the program does not work on a computer that meets them, we refund you (article 09).
05Activation and offline use
The first time you open the program you paste the license key you receive by email. Activation needs internet once per computer; after that it works offline.
When a connection is available, the program checks the license in the background. If it goes a long time without connecting (about seven weeks) or the computer’s date does not add up, it will ask you to connect briefly to continue.
To move the license to another computer, deactivate it on the old one (Home → License → Deactivate this computer). If you no longer have the old one, write to contacto2@halcyons2.com and we release it.
Activation sends your key, a computer identifier and the name the computer has in Windows. Your files, your models and what you do in the program are never sent. Details are in the privacy policy.
06Updates and continuity
All 1.x updates are included. You download them from your purchase email or your Lemon Squeezy orders page.
A future major version (2.0 or later) may be sold separately. Your 1.x license will keep working with the last 1.x version.
If we ever stop running the activation server, we will first release an update that does not need it, so your license keeps working.
07What you make is yours
The models, scenes, images, textures and files you produce with Halcyon Studio are yours. You may use, sell and distribute them, including commercially, with no royalties or extra fees. This includes output an AI connected through the MCP generates from your instructions.
Pieces from the included library may be used inside your works, but not redistributed on their own or as your own library or pack.
You are responsible for making sure what you ask for and publish does not infringe third-party rights (trademarks, characters, protected works).
08What you may not do
- Share, resell or publish your license key.
- Circumvent, disable or tamper with activation or any technical protection measure.
- Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the program, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it notwithstanding this restriction.
- Distribute the program or parts of it.
09Refunds and withdrawal
You have 14 calendar days from purchase to ask for a full refund, no explanation needed. Write to contacto2@halcyons2.com or request it from your Lemon Squeezy receipt. The refund goes to the same payment method and the license is deactivated.
After that period we also refund you if a defect prevents using the program on a computer that meets the requirements and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time.
This 14-day period covers and extends the five-business-day right of withdrawal of article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011. Nothing here limits the guarantees consumer law grants you.
How long the money takes to show in your account depends on Lemon Squeezy and your bank.
10Warranty and liability
Except as stated in article 09 and as required by law, the program is provided as is, with no warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose or free of errors — it is early access.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data or work, lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the license.
None of this limits the rights consumer law in your country grants you.
11License deactivation
A license that was refunded, whose payment was reversed, or that is used against these terms (for example, with the key published or shared) may be deactivated.
If you breach these terms, the license ends and you must stop using the program. Articles 07, 10 and 12 survive.
12Governing law, support and changes
These terms are governed by Colombian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. You may also turn to Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
Support is by email, at contacto2@halcyons2.com. We answer as soon as we can; we are a small team.
We may change these terms for future versions. Your purchase is governed by the version published on the day you paid. Last updated: September 26, 2026.
