Behind Halcyon Studio there is no company: there is a natural person and registered merchant, listed with Colombia's tax authority (DIAN) and answering under their own name.

These are the details that article 50 of Law 1480 of 2011 requires anyone selling online to disclose. We operate https://studio.halcyons2.com under the Halcyon Studio brand, and using this site means accepting these terms.

If you buy Halcyon Studio (the editor), the purchase is governed by the license and purchase terms. These terms cover the site, the free models, donations and sponsorship.

The 3D models published on the site are downloaded at no cost, and you may use them in personal and commercial projects, modify them and redistribute them. We do not require attribution, though it is appreciated.

This includes the pieces born from a sponsorship. There is no paid catalog hidden behind another: what gets modeled here ends up belonging to everyone.

They are delivered as is. We do not guarantee they are fit for a particular purpose or free of defects, and we are not liable for damages arising from their use.

The support button is a voluntary donation. It is not payment for a product or a service: it grants no right to any delivery, unlocks no features, gives no priority and commits to no deadline.

There is no consideration in return, so there is no obligation on our side beyond being grateful. If you donated by mistake or changed your mind, write to contacto2@halcyons2.com and we refund you, no questions asked.

If what you want is your name on a piece, that is not a donation: it is the sponsorship in the next article, and it is paid separately.

For 4 USD you sponsor a piece. What you buy is the dedicated post: a process video on our Instagram account, @blindfoxtech, with your name or alias.

What you get:

• An Instagram post with the video of the modeling process.
• Your name or alias credited in that post.
• A piece modeled from the idea you left us.

What you do not buy is the model, and it is worth spelling out because it is not a matter of wording: this is not a custom commission. You leave us an idea and we interpret it with our own judgment. The result may stray from what you had in mind, and that is not a breach — it is how it works, and a good part of the fun.

For the same reason, there are no revision rounds or later changes. If what you need is a piece that meets a specification of yours, with back and forth, write to contacto2@halcyons2.com: that is a different job and is quoted separately.

Payment is processed by Ko-fi. We neither see nor store your payment details.

The piece that comes out of a sponsorship is published in this site's catalog, free and under the same license as the rest: anyone can download it, use it, modify it and sell it.

This is not a side effect, it is the point: your contribution leaves a free piece for everyone. That is also why there is no exclusivity, neither for you nor for anyone. You can use it like any other person, without limits and without attribution.

By sponsoring, you authorize us to publish the piece and its process, and to use them as work samples on our channels and on this site. If you would rather nothing be published, this service is not for you — write to us and we will discuss it privately as a separate job.

We publish within 5 business days at most, counted from the moment both conditions are met: the payment is confirmed and we have your idea.

If the idea is missing or unclear, we tell you, and the clock starts when we receive it. These are business days in Colombia: Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays do not count.

If we fail to publish within the deadline through our own fault, you may request a full refund by writing to contacto2@halcyons2.com.

We decline, and refund in full, any idea that includes:

• Sexual or adult content, and nudity.
• Content that incites hatred, violence or discrimination.
• Third-party brands, logos, characters or works protected by intellectual property, unless you prove you have authorization.
• Real firearms, explosives, drugs or any object for illicit use.
• Identifiable real people without their consent.
• Anything illegal in Colombia or against Instagram's rules.

Whether an idea falls under any of these is our call. If we decline it, the refund is in full and without deductions.

Before we start: if you write before we begin the piece, we cancel and refund everything. It is the simplest route and the one we prefer.

On the right of withdrawal: article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011 grants five business days to withdraw from distance sales, but excepts — among other cases — services whose provision has begun with the consumer's agreement. Sponsoring is a publishing service, and by sending us the idea you are asking us to start. Therefore, once work has begun the right of withdrawal does not apply; before that, the free cancellation in the previous paragraph covers you just the same, with no formalities.

We refund the full amount if we fail to publish within the deadline through our own fault, if we decline your idea, or if we fail to credit you as agreed. None of this affects the guarantees granted to you by the Consumer Statute.

What does not give rise to a refund is the piece not looking like what you imagined: freedom of interpretation is part of the deal and is stated from the outset, in article 04.

Refunds go through the same payment method. How long it takes for the money to show in your account depends on Ko-fi and your bank, not on us.

When paying, Ko-fi lets you write your name and a message. That is where the idea goes, in at most 280 characters: what you picture, and two or three traits that matter to you. The cap is short on purpose — it is a spark, not a spec.

Tell us also which name or alias you want to be credited with. If you say nothing, we use the name you paid with.

We answer for fulfilling what is agreed here. We are not liable for indirect damages or for the use you make of the pieces. Nothing in this document limits the rights granted to you as a consumer by Law 1480 of 2011.

These terms are governed by Colombian law, and any dispute is submitted to the courts of the Republic of Colombia. You may also turn to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.

We may change these terms; the version in force is always the one published here, with its date. Sponsorships already paid are governed by the version published at the time of payment. Last updated: September 26, 2026.
