Privacy policy
What data of yours we keep, what for, for how long, and how to ask us to delete it.

This is a courtesy translation. The documents are drafted under Colombian law and the Spanish version is the binding one.
01Who is responsible for your data
The party responsible for the personal data collected at https://studio.halcyons2.com is Santiago de la Vega Vargas, a natural person identified with Colombian tax ID (NIT) 1032796953-7, domiciled at Carrera 3 # 3-76, Barrio Centro, Sáchica, Boyacá, Colombia. Phone +57 321 247 3483.
For anything related to your data, including exercising the rights described below, the channel is contacto2@halcyons2.com. We answer through that channel even if you write to us through another.
02What data we collect, and only that
This is the complete inventory. There is nothing else.
- Your email address, when you leave it in a form on the site.
- What you are interested in — whether you want to try the editor, only want new-model alerts, or both.
- Where you wrote from — which form or which model triggered the sign-up. It tells us what people care about.
- Your country, inferred by the network that serves the site. We do not store your IP address: we keep the country and discard the rest.
- The date you signed up or updated your preferences.
- The language the site was in when you signed up, so we can write to you in it.
We do not ask for a name, phone number, address or payment details. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Visit measurement is anonymous and cookie-free.
The site stores two technical marks in your browser: one that remembers you already left your email, so we do not ask again on every download, and one with the language you chose. They live on your device, we do not receive them, and they disappear if you clear your browser data.
If you buy Halcyon Studio, also:
- From Lemon Squeezy, which processes the payment: your name, email, country and the order details (number, product, amount, date). Never your card details.
- When you activate the program: the license key; a computer identifier, which is an encrypted digest (hash) of the identifier Windows assigns to the installation and does not by itself say who you are; the name your computer has in Windows, so you can tell your computers apart in support; and the dates of activation and of the last check.
The program does not send your files, your models, what you ask the AI, or how you use it. On your computer it keeps the license file and a time mark (in the application folder and the Windows registry) so it can work offline; they never leave your computer.
What is said above about not asking for your name or payment details refers to the site’s forms.
03What we use it for
- Letting you know about editor news.
- To let you know when we publish new models.
- To enable downloads without asking for your email again.
- To understand which sections and which pieces draw interest, in aggregate and without identifying you.
We do not sell, rent or hand your data to third parties for commercial purposes. We make no automated decisions that affect you.
- If you bought: delivering and activating your license, enforcing the computer limit, detecting key misuse, giving you support, and meeting the accounting and tax obligations of the sale.
04Your rights
Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 grant you, as the data subject, the right to:
- Know, update and correct your data.
- Request proof of the authorization you gave us, except where the law does not require it.
- Be informed of the use we have made of it.
- File complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio for breaches of the law.
- Revoke the authorization and request the deletion of your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
- Access your data free of charge.
05How to exercise them
Write to contacto2@halcyons2.com from the email you registered, saying what you want. No format required: "delete me" or "what do you have on me" is enough.
The deadlines are those set by articles 14 and 15 of Law 1581 of 2012:
- Queries: an answer within ten (10) business days at most. If we cannot make it, we tell you why and take up to five (5) more business days.
- Complaints: an answer within fifteen (15) business days at most. If we cannot make it, we tell you why and take up to eight (8) more business days.
Unsubscribing from the emails is faster still: every message we send carries a link to do it in one step.
06How you gave your authorization
By submitting a form on this site, with the consent box ticked and the link to this policy in view. We keep the sign-up date and the form it came from, which is the proof of that authorization.
We do not process data of minors or sensitive data — racial or ethnic origin, political orientation, religious beliefs, health, sexual life or biometric data. If we find that a sign-up belongs to a minor, we delete it.
If you buy Halcyon Studio, you give your authorization when you purchase and activate the program, accepting the license and purchase terms, which link to this policy.
07Who else touches it, and where it is
The site infrastructure and the database belong to Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which acts as data processor and cannot use the data for its own purposes.
This involves an international transfer of data, which you accept when you sign up. Cloudflare is bound by contractual protection commitments equivalent to those required by Colombian regulation.
If you donate or sponsor a piece, the payment is processed by Ko-fi with its own gateways. The data you leave there — name, email, payment details — is handled by Ko-fi as an independent controller, under its own policy. We never receive or store your card details.
Payment for the editor is processed by Lemon Squeezy (United States), acting as authorized reseller and as independent controller of the payment data, under its own policy. From it we receive the order data listed above.
If you connect an artificial intelligence to the program (Claude, Cursor or another), what you send it is handled by that provider under its policy. That connection is between you and them: we do not receive that content.
08How long we keep it and how we protect it
As long as the alerts are useful to you, or until you ask to unsubscribe, whichever comes first. When you request deletion, we delete the record; we do not archive it "just in case".
The site is encrypted end to end (HTTPS required), the database is not reachable from the internet, and only the people on the team who need it can access it. Even so, no system is infallible: should an incident affect your data, we would inform you and report it to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
Activation data is kept while the license exists, and a computer’s record is deleted when you deactivate it. Sales data is kept for as long as Colombian accounting and tax law requires.
09Validity and changes
This policy was drafted in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, and is in force from September 26, 2026. Data is kept for the period stated above.
If we change it, we update the date in the header. When a change substantially affects what we use your data for, we let you know by email before applying it.
You can also read the site's terms and conditions.
The purchase terms of the editor are in the license and purchase terms.
